Begin your exciting adventure early in the morning, with pickup from your hotel and arriving at Kiulu Valley Hub. Receive a tour and safety briefing by your in-house guide as well as practice run before starting your quad bike ride. Have a short photo session and depart to one of the villages where the locals will regale you with stories of the village’s legendary tempayan (traditional crock) known for the supposed medicinal and mystical properties of its contents. Stay refreshed under the tropical sun by drinking locally made drinks and sampling stingless bee honey, all while being entertained with an exciting traditional Silat (a local martial art) performance!
Then, embark on a two-hour guided scenic quad bike ride, passing through several villages and beyond with splendid views of paddy fields, plantations, forests and the iconic Kiulu River along the way.
Afterwards, proceed to a local village to try your hand at several cultural activities with the local villagers, including fire-making, playing traditional musical instruments, learning about traditional traps, and blow pipe and slingshot demonstrations, among others. Once you’ve sated your curiosity about the locals’ unique way of life, make your way to a Bamboo Hut, a secluded home situated in a beautiful waterfall garden, where you’ll be having some delicious lunch specially prepared by the local family there.
Then, return to KV Hub via quad bike. If time and weather permits, you can even take a dip in the sensationally cooling Kiulu River – no doubt a welcome and refreshing experience given your day-long ride under the tropical heat! In the late afternoon, bid farewell to wonderful Kiulu as you depart back to Kota Kinabalu city.

No experience is required, so if you have never tried quad biking before then fret not, we’ll have you revving these four-wheelers in no time! A safety briefing and practice run are given before the tour begins to ensure you are familiar and comfortable with our quad bikes.
The weather does not affect our quad biking adventure tours. After all, it is more fun to ride in the warm tropical rain! In the event of inclement weather conditions, we will not proceed with the tour for your safety is our priority.
We currently have two single-seater 150CC EGL and four 300CC semi-automatic quad bikes.
Our minimum is TWO persons and we take up to SIX persons in a group with one guide and sweeper.
Participants who do not show up for their tour will be considered as NO-SHOW. We may be able to reschedule your tour if unforeseen circumstances arise provided that you notify us within 24 hours that you could not make it. This is based on tour availability. NO refund will be provided for no-show. It really depends on you. Is it your first time in Nepal? How confident are you of being able to find your way around? How pressed on time are you? If you go through an agency, it will be costlier but everything will be planned. You will only have to come, trek and return.
We require all participants to arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour begins. As we run on a timed schedule, it is only appropriate that we start all of our tours on time. We need to be considerate of other participants who may have other activities to do – we do not want them to wait and be late for their next activity! If you are running late, please contact us to let us know. We will try to reschedule your tour to a later time. NO refund will be provided for late arrivals.
All participants must wear a helmet at all times. All participants must listen and follow the instructions given by the guide. All participants are required to read and sign the Indemnity Form prior to riding. All participants must travel at a speed that is deemed safe and reasonable throughout the tour and; as is set by the guide, to ensure safety. Our quad biking adventure tour is NOT a race but a guided tour. You will be responsible for damage to the quad bike caused by carelessness and recklessness or violations of the rules. All participants must follow the guide in a single tag-a-long file line spaced approximately 3-4 bike lengths apart. All participants must take responsibility to become aware of the features of the quad bikes prior to riding, including location of brakes, throttle, and ignition switch. The use of drugs or alcohol are strictly PROHIBITED. You are responsible for the equipment you use. No riding in unapproved areas; we have designated tracks to follow. No tricks, jumping or tail sliding. We reserve the right to cancel or change tours due to inclement weather, safety reasons, insufficient bookings or events beyond our control. Refunds are not offered but tours may be rescheduled at an alternative date.
